INFORMATIONS ABOUT THE FARM
The farm "Podere del Leone" lies on a hill 310 mt high, in a countryside caracterized by olive trees and vineyards, nearby woods rich of plants and animals ( squirrels, birds, boars, foxes, porcupines ). In the farm, very near the houses, there is the garden with the 4o ft. swimming pool ( open during the high season ). Near the farm houses, but separately, lives the family of the owners. The house and the farm belong to the Lucci Family since the beginning of the XX century. They are very happy to be in contact with their guests. And they are always there for informations or anything else. Close by the farm there is pizzeria and restaurant. Meal facilities in the farm, also. Down the hill you can leave your car in a free parking and take the bus to reach easily the heart of Florence in about 20 minutes ( the bus leaves every 10 minutes about ). Country bus pass from the farm twice a day, also.

Anreisebeschreibung:

- COMING FROM MOTOR WAY A-1 (Milano - Firenze): take exit SCANDICCI and follow sings for SCANDICCI. in Scandicci you ask for VIA ROMA and follow it for about km 2 in the direction of the hills, direction for ROVETA and VINGONE-COLLINE. You arrive in front of a restaurant (japanese house) called “ Anastasia” , here you take the street on your left (VIA DELL' ARRIGO) and follow it, after mt. 800 you find a wodden cross: keep the right and come up the hill. After km 2, 5 on your right you see "Podere del Leone".
