Cottage Villa LYDIA, built in the beginning of 20th century, has been soundly renovated in 2002, retaining its character whilst providing all modern conveniences.
The ground floor: the main entrance to the living room with kitchen/dinning room, including SAT TV. Bathroom: WC, bidet, shower cubicle and washbasin. There are also stairs to the first floor.
The first floor: double bedroom and twin bedroom, and large living room. Exit to the balcony with stone stairs to the front courtyard.
The cottage is completely furnished with old-style (restored) furniture. The traditional materials (wood and stone) as well as methods were used during the cottage restoring. The kitchen is equipped with necessary electric appliances and cutlery. Bed linen and towels included.
Cottage Villa LYDIA *** is situated in the typical Istrian village courtyard. The pearl of the Istrian architecture - water cistern – making the first floor gallery of 15m2, built some 80 years ago, is protected from the sun by also 80 years old vine grape that still gives crops of the Istrian malvasia wine sort. Welcome to try!
The courtyard provides you with total privacy, safe place for children play, possibility for resting-time and leisure-time in tranquil conditions, as well as with off-road parking in the open air.

In Smoljanci there is grocery, restaurant and cafe. Also here you can buy the original Istrian healthy food – vegetables, eggs, goat and sheep milk and cheese, vine and brandy. The region is famous for cycling tours, tracking and running paths. In Smoljanci there is bowling-court, tennis-court and football field.
In Svetvinčenat (3 km) there are: post office, bank, physician, pharmacy, shops and restaurants. Filling station is in Žminj (8 km).
Smoljanci village is conected with Pula and Pazin by railway. It is very convenient for excursions without car. The nearest beaches are Colone-Bale and Veštar (blue-flag award) – 13 km. Major tourist destinations: Pula (with airport) 25 km, Fažana-Brioni 25 km, Rovinj 18 km, Limski cannal 10 km, Dvigrad 5 km, Poreč 30 km…

You can look on GoogleMaps entering "Villa Lydia, Smoljanci, Croatia" if you coming by car. We are only 5 km from the highway Trieste-Kopar-Pula.
You can also come with the plane on Pula aeroport (PUY) but you need to hire the car in that solution.
If you come by boat, the nearest harbour is in Rovinj and Pula.
