Byzantas, the founder of the Byzantine Empire, was born and rased in Megara, and his statue today is up to a hill in the town of Megara. Many ancient statues, columns are exposed in the city Museum. A privillege point area to stay, close to the sea, having a small traditional port, Pahi, with the best fish taverns and cafe places. You can pick up the boats even to Aegina and Agistri islands, for a daily excursion.. The train station to Athens-Kiato, the highway, the wonderfull beaches of Psatha-Alepohori and Kinetta, the race-course, the Genaral Aviation, the airport where you can participate in the sport club doing skydiving, Salamina Island, the casino of Loutraki with the spa area, Korinthos, Athens, Port of Pireous and the Airport of El.Venizelos... are only 5min to 40 min driving away from you! The mountain Pateras and Gerania, is a great area to explore, full of trees, a very rich and beautiful nature
