Bed & Breakfast or Selfcatering - Our comfortable gueshouse can be booked either on an individual room & breakfast basis or the entire property for self catering. The house, located on the edge of the quiet village of Bayerisch Eisenstein has wonderful views over the village and the forested hills beyond. The Bayerwald National Park & Grosser Arber (1454m) & the Czech republic are on our doorstep. In winter, its less than 10 minutes by car or bus to the ski runs. In summer, the area is great for walking, mountain biking, & golf. The area is reknowned for its wide range of traditional festivals. The house is centrally located for visiting historic cities such as, Passau, Regensburg, Munich, Prague, Salzburg & Landshut. All rooms are comfortably furnished, with en-suite shower room, WC, TV, DVD player, hair-dryer & tea/coffee making facilities. The guestlounge has great views, the ideal place to relax & socialise. Located on the edge of the Bavarian Forest National Park, Bavaria, Germany. Halfway between Munich and Prague, only 2 hours by car. The Arber ski resort with it's cable car is only 5 minutes drive away. Bayersich Eisenstein is on the Glass road. There are many glass makers in the area to visit. A number of National hiking trails pass close by and there is a wide range of footpaths and cycle trails to explore in the Bavarian Forest and the Sumava region of the Czech Republic, just over the border. Grossers Rachel, Falkenstein, Lussen are all within 30 minutes. You can take boat trips on the scenic River Danube, less than a 45 minute drive away.
