In der Antike war das Dorf den letzten Host-Platz für Reisende und Pelgrims zu Fuß zum Heiligtum von La Verna gerichtet. Riesige Nachlass von mehr als 300 Hektar Weiden und Sträucher an der Grenze des Nationalparks des Casentino Wälder.

Ausführliche Beschreibung:

The farmhouse offers confortable rooms with 2-3-4 beds and nice apartments with 5-6 beds. All units have private bathroom, TV and are furnished with "poor" tuscan furniture. The apartments have kitchen- livingroom, fireplace and vieuw on the valley.
Everything is enriched by a restaurant with typical tuscan cuisine, little country bar, TV room and a large rustic hall to relax, read or chat.
The farmhouse has all around large green aeras of grazing fields, bushes, little children playground near the swimmingpool with panoramic vieuw over the valley, stable with riding-track, cowhouse, fence for the donkeys and a bush for the pigs.

On the second floor of the agriturismo we have a large rustic hall very suitable for birthday or anniversary parties, meetings or courses of all kinds.
In the main garden we serve, upon request, in the nice seasons along with the breeze of our sea pines light rustic and genuine snacks/ lunches.
Not very far from the main building, under the shadow of the trees, we also offer 8 fully equipped camper parking places.

We can offer our guests, B& B stays with sweet and salty buffet breakfast or half board stays including a 5 course dinner ( from the antipasto up to the sweets) based on our own meat, fresh vegetables from our kitchen-gardens and home-made cakes prepared fresh every day.

To enjoy your free moments, you can rent mountain bikes and quads to go around and enter into our bushes at the discovery of our beautiful surroundings.

For all sport lovers, besides horse-riding at our riding- track and excursions by horse, one can do sport- fishing at 3 km distance in the near lake. Further, in the neighbouring villages of Bibbiena and Poppi there are tennis and golf playgrounds.

The central position of our agriturismo gives art and culture lovers the possibility to visit in the surroundings the Sanctuaries of La Verna and Madonna del Sasso, the historic villages of Bibbiena, Poppi with the beautiful castle formerly owned by the counts Guidi. At short distance the hermitage of Camaldoli inside of the National Park with his medieval forests and pharmacy, the Roman church and castle of Romena, historic villages like Stia and Pratovecchio, the castle of San Niccolo' and the Etruskan findings of the little votive statues in the lake degli Idoli or the Etruskan altar near the church of the village of Pieve a Socana. You can also visit the cities of Arezzo, Florence and Siena being not very far away.

Fuer allen Sportfreunden, ausserdem unseren Pool und Reitschule, im kleinen See auf 3 km abstand koennen Sie Sport- Fishen oder in unsere viele Fluesse (Arno ist die wichtigste). Im naehere Orten von Bibbiena und Poppi koennen Sie Tennis und Golf spielen. Der Agriturismo liegt ganz central im Casentino und bietet der Art und Kultur Freunden die Moeglichkeit in die Umgebung die Heiligtum und Kloster von La verna und Madonna del Sasso zu besuchen oder Mittelaelteren Orten von Poppi mit seinem schoenem Schloss (zugehoert zum Familien von Graf Guidi), die Einsiedelei von Camaldoli innerhalb der Nationalpark, Etruskische Erfindungen in Pieve a Socana und Idracoli See. Die Staetten von Arezzo, Firenze und Siena sind allen innerhalb eine Stunde Fahren zu erreichen.

Anreisebeschreibung:

From the north (scenic route)
When you reach Bologna join the A14 motorway going in the direction of Ancona and exit at CESENA NORD, take there the E45 in the direction of Roma. Exit at Bagno di Romagna and take the road of the Mandrioli pass over the SS71, follow signs to Stia and then to Bibbiena. Arrived in Bibbiena take road SS208 in direction of Chiusi della Verna, after 5 km, you will find signs enter our property on your left hand.

From the south
Take highway after Bologna and Florence, direction Roma until you arrive in Arezzo, exit there and follow the road SS 71 Umbro- Casentinese along the Arno valley up to Bibbiena. Arrived in the village of Bibbiena, drive in direction of the hospital and take road SS208 in direction of Chiusi della Verna. You will find signs along the way, but after 5 km you will a sign to enter our property on your left hand.
